Angela Vila
"Can contribute  by searching for grants that will help ACGR grow and achieve its mission."
​ANGELA VILA handles cash flow, accounts receivable and billing for MYKITA NA, a high-end German eyewear mfr.
  • Deals with opticians, optometrists across U.S. and Canada who buy its products.
  • Resolves billing issues.
Glen Rock Involvement:
  • 30-year resident. She and her husband Leo, raised their three children here (now young adults) and all three attended the public schools.
  • She's has been an active Glen Rock Volunteer for more than 20 years
             🔲  HSA President at both Hamilton and the HS/MS,
             
🔲  Founding Member of GR Education Foundation (she and Mona got a $10,000 grant)
             
🔲  President of GR IDA  July 4 Parade for 5+ years (still volunteering)
             
🔲  Girl Scout Leader for 11 years
             
🔲  Secretary/ Board Trustee for Thielke Arboretum (3+ years)
             
🔲  Grad Ball Co-Chair 2014 & 2021
The Arts:
  • Tic Toc Docent for 14 years
  • Occasional visitor to arts venues here and there - locally, in NYC, Spain and Italy​
  • "To me, the Arts Council is important because it adds another dimension to our town. Through all forms of art and creative expression we learn -- about our neighbors, about different cultures, history and to be tolerant and accepting."

LISA HAHN is a stained glass artist, owner of Stained Glass by Lisa. She designs all of her pieces - stained glass windows and glass-on-glass mosaics, taking inspiration from nature. She began working in stained glass about 11 years ago, and has drawn and painted all through her life.​
  • Owned Caugherty Hahn Communications, a public relations business, for 30+ years. 
  • PR Director and spokesperson for the 3,600-member Direct Marketing Association, building media relations and developing strategy for key issues facing the industry.
  • Began her PR career at the Whitney Museum - worked with artists Louise Nevelson and Chuck Close, among others​
Glen Rock Involvement:
  • 29-year resident. She and her husband John, raised their son and daughter here (now young adults). Involved in:
             🔲   Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts
             
🔲   Their church
             
🔲   Glen Rock Sports
             
🔲   Local political elections (also state and national)
  • Paid member of Arts Council of Glen Rock - obtained business sponsors for 2021 and 22 Arts Fest.
  • Member of Creative Bergen, able to get more artists involved in GR's Arts Amble effort.
  • Volunteer at Parlance Chamber Concerts at West Side Presbyterian Church, and Paterson Habitat for Humanity.
The Arts:
  • B.A. in Fine Arts (Drawing/Printmaking and Art History), University of Northern Colorado.​
  • Taught the first drawing class at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
  • Currently learning (via Zoom) Manx Gaelg, a Celtic language spoken in the Isle of Man.
  • Attended an intensive course at the Chicago Mosaic School.
  • Past member of Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum

​KATE BRANGACCIO is a Partner at ICF Next, a full-service marketing and ad agency.
  • More than 20 years developing and managing integrated marketing, communications, and behavior change campaigns in the public health, transportation, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency fields.
  • Senior corporate communications roles in the public and non profit sectors
  • Familiar with providing strategic oversight and leadership on complex, interdisciplinary teams
  • Delivered measurable outcomes on marketing campaigns for her clients.
Glen Rock Involvement:
  • 18-year resident. She and her husband John (graphic designer), raised their two children here (now young adults) and both kids attended the public schools.
  • Has volunteered at:
             🔲   the Farmers Market,
             
🔲   Arbor Day at Thielke Arboretum,
             
🔲   GreenUp Glen Rock - planned Walk to School Day at Central School for many years. 
The Arts:
  • Regular visitor and member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art
  • Fan and member of the NYC Ballet.
