In celebration of the Library’s Centennial year, Arts Council of Glen Rock is organizing a juried art show to be displayed at the Glen Rock Library in September.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS (JULY 1) HAS NOW PASSED
Artists with previously arranged extensions should contact John Blackman directly.

​Theme:
Long-Lasting Impressions - Books Published in 1922 
  • Your contribution will help us create a gallery experience that is not only engaging, but educational — promoting literature and reading. 
  • Check out our extensive list of 30 works to help spark those creative juices!
  • Base your submissions on a book's theme, story, characters, title, author, excerpt, or anything else that appeals to you. We want you to have flexibility to express your art/vision in a way that suits you.
​Entries: 
We are accepting up to three (3) per artist of:
  • 2-dimensional works (hanging) - painting, drawings, sketches, PHOTOGRAPHY and more
  • Relief works (hanging) - quilts, collages of objects and more
  • 3-dimensional works that fit a space 20" wide, 12" deep and up to 28" high - sculpture, woodworking, metal craft and more

The Glen Rock Library is a public library with children present, so with that in mind, we respectfully request that your submitted artwork be family-friendly.

​Schedule: 
  • May 1      Exhibition submissions are now being accepted - SUBMISSION FORM 
  • July 1      Deadline for submissions
  • July 15    Artwork for the exhibition selected and all entrants notified
  • Aug 1      Deadline for exhibition artists information (biography, statement, title) 
  • Sept 1     Show is installed
